What an amazing day. You really couldn’t ask for two nicer people to get married. We feel so honored that Alix and Ollie chose us to photograph their wedding on Martha’s Vineyard (even though they technically got married last year, which is why the theme of their wedding was “We Did & We Do”). It was such a beautiful day from start to finish. We were so happy to hang out with these two, along with their wonderful family and friends in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
We really love when we feel like we got to become friends with the couples we work with, and these two were no exception. We’ve been working with them for almost a year and were able to do the photography for Ollie’s album as well (buy it, it’s amazing).
As luck would have it, we were on the vineyard 1 week before this wedding and got to sit down with alix & ollie for some delicious breakfast and great conversation. Alix told us they had worked so hard, and spent so much time on the wedding, but in the end, the most important detail was out of their hands. They realized that it was the people that were going to make their wedding be a celebration.
We feel like we got to work with a dream team of vendors on this event too. Desiree Spinner, our dear friend Becca Olcott from Petal Weddings, and I Do Films.
